The American Animal Hospital Association accredits Betty Baugh's Animal Clinic. The clinic meets and maintains exceptional standards to achieve this accreditation. In January of 2006, the Virginia House of Delegates recognized Betty Baugh in the passing of a resolution for her contribution in the aftermath of Katrina.
