Dogs for Adoption

Toby
Arrived on 6/14/2010

Description: Hi, my name is Toby. I am a shy 1 ½ yr. old neutered Labrador Retriever/ Greyhound mix with a great personality and I am up to date on all of my vaccinations. Due to an unstable past I am cautious of strangers but very friendly and warm up quickly. I have been raised with my little sister Tilly so getting along with other dogs is not a problem ( I would be cautious of intact smaller male dogs). I am currently being fostered with five other dogs, two cats, ferrets, a guinea pig and reptiles. Not to mention children of all ages visit me often. I love to cuddle, go on long walks and enjoy the water hose and pool very much. I am crate trained and can be left for long periods of time without making noise or soiling my crate.Bathing in never a problem and all outdoor activities are appreciated. I enjoy riding in a vehicle for long trips and hanging my head out of the window and playing in the yard. I would benefit from a yard with a 6 ft. fence because sometimes I like to jump the fence and go for a nice long walk without my owner, which is not good. My favorite treats consist of Rawhides, chicken flavored treats and biscuits. Last but not least I would benefit from continued training and socialization. Because I have been raised since birth with my sister, I would benefit from being adopted with her but can do fine on my own. I have the makings of a wonderful dog and would love to become a part of your family.

Tilly
Arrived on 6/14/2010

Description: Hello, my name is Tilly. I am a rambunctious highly energized 1½ yr. old spayed Labrador Retriever/ Greyhound mix that is up to date on all of my vaccinations that has the personality and drive of my Greyhound ancestry. I could run for miles so an owner with high energy whom enjoys outdoor activities would be perfect for me. Unfortunately due to my play/run drive I tend to chase small animals. I currently am being fostered with two cats that I do fine with but if given the chance my thousand yard stare can easily turn into a chase. Living with other dogs or caged animals is not a problem. The more dogs the better! I am a big cuddler and would love nothing more than to curl up in your lap and take a nice long nap. I love chasing balls, going for long walks, taking baths and rough housing in the yard. I am crate trained and can be left for long periods of time without making lots of noise or soiling my crate. I would benefit from having a yard with at least a 6 ft. fence. Because I have been raised with my brother I would benefit from being adopted with him but will do just fine on my own. Last but not least, continued training and socialization would benefit me very much.

Lexi
Arrived on 7/26/2010

Description: Lexie is a very unique Jack Russell/Lab mix who is 4 years old. She is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines. Lexie has lived with children and other dogs, as well as cats. Lexie is a very high energy dog who will need to have an owner that has a fenced yard and/or enough time to provide her with lots of exercise. She is very intelligent and would be an excellent dog for agility training. She could also make a great running partner. Lexie's owner should be a person with dog experience and the time to spend on training an awesome dog. She will be a loyal and loving companion and will make the right person very happy! If you are interested in meeting Lexie, please call Amy Adkins at 513-5961 to schedule a visit.

BB956
Arrived on 3/23/2010

Description: He was brought to the clinic by one of our clients. He appeared in her neighborhood as a baby and she decided to take on the responsibility of feeding him and his sister. Due to how many animals she already had, she tried to find him and his sister a new home. After no luck she contacted me & asked if we would have any room for him and his sister. When he arrived at the clinic he was scared but one of our assistants have been working with him daily. He is still alittle scared especially of fast movements. I believe after more TLC he will become less affraid. He has been tested and has started going through routine kitten vaccines.
